The Symptoms Of The Cancer By: Hawie Tan We all know that the cancer has been considered as one of the top five killers in world. Somehow, this disease has been considered as one of the worst assassin for the human being. If the heart attack killed the patient suddenly, the cancer played some soft role. It kills, softly until on the last moment before the cancer cells finally score the goal. It was beginning from a small harmless cell. Somehow, when it found the perfect “home”, they would develop the population rapidly. Soon, slow but sure, the cancer cell ruined the home. Realizing that the home has already being controlled, they cancer cell spread their area. They start searching for the new homes. They started some new colonies around the big one. Soon enough, the patient might unable to control their organ that has already become the house of the cancer cell. Most of the patient didn’t really realize about what happened to them. Most of them didn’t really care about the symptoms. Most of them even didn’t know what the symptoms were. Well, in the early phases, the cancer disease seems so harmless. And that is the main problems. The patient didn’t realize that they have a giant threat inside their own body. Suddenly, when they have finally realized, the cancer cells were taking over the control of the body’s organs of the patient. There are several kinds of cancer symptoms. Generally, those symptoms are being grouped into three groups. The first group is the group of local symptoms. The local symptoms are something such as tumor, bleeding, and some pain. The changing color of the eye and the skin into yellow are also the kinds of the local symptoms. The next group of the symptoms is the Symptom of metastasis. This is the spreading phase of the cancer cells. It this phase, the symptoms of the cancer cell are; the enlarging of the lymph nodes, cough, and hemoptysis. There are several other symptoms of this group such as hepatomegaly. Hepatomegaly is the abnormality of the liver. The size of the liver is increasing abnormally. The other symptoms in this group are; bone pain, fracture or affected bones and the neurogical symptoms. The last group of the symptoms would be the systemic symptoms. In this phase, the patient would have some of these condition such as significantly weight loss, poor appetite even though they haven’t eaten anything yet, fatigue and cachexia (wasting). They also would have some excessive sweating conditions such as night sweats, anemia and the specific paraneoplastic phenomena. The specific paraneoplastic phenomena would be such as the hormonal changes. Well, even though the symptoms seem so clear, but somehow the patient didn’t really pay attention to the symptoms. Suddenly, they realized after the cancer have already entered the late phases. In these phase, the healing possibility would only around 30 percent, or less.
